The Summer Bus trip to Wells
17th August 2008

Every Summer a mate organises a vintage boozy bus trip, this year it utilsed a 33 year old open top Bristol VR double decker. The weather was rubbish but we still sat on the open top deck as we were blasted by the freezing wind over the Mendips, after all it was August, needless to say the day got warmer as the amount of beer consumed increased...

The guide pub in Cheddar is the White Hart. OK if you like uninteresting beers, kids crawling around your feet and the smell of chip fat. The hotel up the road served Cheddar Ales and was much better.
